As a Native Northern New Mexican, I understand that we need someone who will recognize and address the needs of our rural communities— including, protecting land and water rights. While taxes and the cost of living continue to increase, local resources and programs grow thinner. Our younger generations are being forced to start lives and raise their children elsewhere due to the lack of opportunity. This is why I’m running. I can’t continue to sit on the sideline! The moment we live in compels us to act now!
